It is an activity organized by Servei Educatiu Selva I and the English teachers from different school centres of the area. All along the school year pupils with their teachers plan activities, prepare workshops, choose a mascot, interact through the internet… till the third term. That is when the long-awaited meeting takes place: it is the English day. On this day, and during the morning, pupils enjoy with the workshops other mates have prepared. There is also a play that all students have worked on in the classroom, so they can fully enjoy it while the professional actors perform. Classroom’s works are displayed and above all English is the star. In the afternoon, after having lunch all together in San Salvador Park for the closing ceremony, where awards are given out for the work carried out by the students throughout the school year. So it is an activity based on the exchange of experiences, among schools, among teachers and among pupils. It is a fully consolidated activity in the field of primary education in our area.
