La lectura \u00e9s una porta d\u2019entrada a la fantasia i a la imaginaci\u00f3. Obres un llibre i&#8230; poden passar molts fets ins\u00f2lits: viatjar a altres mons, con\u00e8ixer llocs reals o imaginaris, haver de fer front a situacions problem\u00e0tiques, resoldre enigmes, convertir-te en personatges de tot tipus, gaudir de paisatges magn\u00edfics, traslladar-te al passat o al futur&#8230; Un llibre t&#8217;enriqueix, et fa cr\u00e9ixer, t&#8217;acarona, et sacseja, et fa agafar esgarrifances i, sobretot, t&#8217;acompanya. I quin lloc m\u00e9s extraordinari i m\u00e9s incre\u00efble hi pot haver-hi que una biblioteca, que \u00e9s el lloc on s&#8217;allotgen tantes lectures i tantes possibilitats per
