This\u00a0talk organised by the\u00a0English Day’18 Seminar<\/b>\u00a0at Vall\u00e8s Oriental I was\u00a0held on\u00a025th June from 9:45 to 12:00.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The talk was\u00a0given by\u00a0Manel Pi\u00f1eiro<\/b>, English teacher at Escola Els Secallets in Comarruga and CLIL teacher trainer with a long experience and expertise.<\/p>\n

Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n

We all know the importance of oral speech to improve our students’ English language command. But we also know how difficult it is to engage them in conversations or oral interactions longer than using mere single words. How can we manage the English lessons to create situations in which students feel confident to talk?\u00a0How can we get our students to speak freely in front of their classmates and teachers?<\/p>\n
