Les docents Laura Mart\u00edn de l\u2019escola Santa Agn\u00e8s de Santa Agn\u00e8s de Malanyanes i la Berta Costa i la Maria Muntal de l\u2019escola Tur\u00f3 de Can Gili estan realitzant una mobilitat a Porvoo, Finl\u00e0ndia, durant la setmana del 4 al 10 de maig, per poder aprendre aspectes sobre el sistema educatiu fin\u00e8s que puguin ser aplicables al nostre sistema educatiu. Aquesta mobilitat s’ha realitzat gr\u00e0cies gr\u00e0cies al projecte Erasmus+ que coordina el CRP del Vall\u00e8s Oriental I. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Porvoo (en  suec<\/a> Borg\u00e5<\/em> ) \u00e9s una ciutat de Finl\u00e0ndia<\/a> situada al sud del pa\u00eds, aproximadament a 50 km a l\u2019est de H\u00e8lsinki.\u00c9s la segona ciutat m\u00e9s antiga de Finl\u00e0ndia, coneguda pel nucli antic de fusta<\/a>, els seus caf\u00e8s, les elegants botigues i els magatzems de color vermell al llarg del riu. T\u00e9 els carrers empedrats i vorejats d’edificis antics semblants a casetes de fusta de colors i estan envoltats d’excel\u00b7lents restaurants, botigues d’artesania, botigues d’articles per a la llar i galeries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u00c9s una ciutat biling\u00fce, que t\u00e9 el fin\u00e8s i el suec com a lleng\u00fces oficials. Porvoo  t\u00e9 51.232 habitants, dels quals un 63% parla fin\u00e8s, un 27% suec i un 9% altres idiomes. Hi ha 9 escoles\/instituts sueques i 14 escoles\/instituts fineses. L\u2019alumnat que t\u00e9 com a llengua materna el suec, sol anar a escoles sueques on s\u2019apr\u00e8n el fin\u00e8s com una segona llengua i l\u2019alumnat que t\u00e9 el fin\u00e8s com a llengua materna sol anar a escoles fineses. Al \u201cgrade 3\u201d comencen l\u2019aprenentatge de la llengua anglesa i al \u201cgrade 7\u201d poden escollir una segona llengua estrangera, entre el castell\u00e0 (una de les m\u00e9s escollides), el franc\u00e8s o l\u2019alemany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Del sistema educatiu fin\u00e8s podem destacar que l\u2019escolaritzaci\u00f3 \u00e9s obligat\u00f2ria i gratu\u00efta des dels 7 fins als 18 anys, incloent el transport escolar i el servei de menjador. L\u2019escola de prim\u00e0ria comen\u00e7a amb 7 anys amb el \u201cgrade 1\u201d i acaba al \u201cgrade 6\u201d, l\u2019escola de secund\u00e0ria va del \u201cgrade 7\u201d fins al \u201cgrade 9\u201d, i despr\u00e9s poden escollir entre dos cursos de preparaci\u00f3 per accedir a la universitat o b\u00e9 especialitzar-se en algun ofici.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tamb\u00e9 destaquem que segons l\u2019edat\/nivell educatiu de l\u2019alumnat fan diferent nombre de sessions setmanals, des de 20 sessions setmanals fins a 30 sessions setmanals. L\u2019alumnat que per edat realitzen menys sessions de classe setmanals poden estar al centre en el seu horari complet sota la supervisi\u00f3 d\u2019un adult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un dels aspectes que ens ha sorpr\u00e8s m\u00e9s \u00e9s que dinen entre 11 i 11.30 i que els docents de prim\u00e0ria dinen acompanyant l\u2019alumnat, i seguidament continuen la jornada escolar. La jornada escolar acaba entre les 2 i les 3, per\u00f2 a prim\u00e0ria l\u2019alumnat pot fer diferents activitats extraescolars al finalitzar les classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El planning d\u2019aquesta setmana consistir\u00e0 en visitar 4 escoles: Kvarnbackens skola, Lyceiparkens skola, \u2060\u2060Sann\u00e4s skola i \u2060Str\u00f6mborgska skola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PORVOO AND ITS EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, Laura Mart\u00edn teacher from Santa Agn\u00e8s, Berta Costa and Maria Muntal, teachers from Tur\u00f3 de Can Gili (Granollers) are currently undertaking a mobility program in Porvoo, Finland, in order to learn about aspects of the Finnish educational system that may be applicable to our own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Porvoo (in Swedish, Borg\u00e5<\/em>) is a city in southern Finland, located approximately 50 km east of Helsinki. It is the second oldest city in Finland, known for its old wooden town, its caf\u00e9s, elegant shops, and the red-painted riverside warehouses. Its cobbled streets are lined with old buildings resembling colorful wooden houses, surrounded by excellent restaurants, craft shops, home goods stores, and galleries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a bilingual city, with both Finnish and Swedish as official languages. Porvoo has 51,232 inhabitants, 63% of whom speak Finnish, 27% Swedish, and 9% other languages. There are 9 Swedish-speaking schools\/institutes and 14 Finnish-speaking ones. Students whose mother tongue is Swedish usually attend Swedish-language schools where Finnish is taught as a second language, and students whose mother tongue is Finnish usually attend Finnish-language schools. In grade 3, students begin learning English, and in grade 7, they can choose a second foreign language, with Spanish (one of the most popular), French, or German as options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the key features of the Finnish education system is that schooling is compulsory and free from the age of 7 to 18, including school transport and lunch services. Primary school starts at age 7 with grade 1 and ends at grade 6. Secondary school goes from grade 7 to grade 9, after which students can choose between two years of preparation for university or vocational training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another notable point is that the number of weekly sessions varies according to students\u2019 age and educational level, ranging from 20 to 30 sessions per week. Younger students, who have fewer class sessions, can remain at the school during their full schedule under adult supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the aspects that has surprised us the most is that they have lunch between 11:00 and 11:30, and primary school teachers eat alongside the students, then continue the school day. The school day ends between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm, but in primary school, students can participate in various extracurricular activities after classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week\u2019s schedule will include visiting 4 schools: Kvarnbackens skola, Lyceiparkens skola, Sann\u00e4s skola, and Str\u00f6mborgska skola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
