Finl\u00e0ndia \u00e9s un dels pa\u00efsos m\u00e9s importants en serveis de biblioteca. Proporcionen a tots els ciutadans acc\u00e9s igualitari a la cultura i la informaci\u00f3. Nosaltres hem tingut l’oportunitat de visitar aquests dies dues d’aquestes biblioteques: la Kirkkonummi Library<\/strong> (poblaci\u00f3 situada a uns 30 km a l’oest de Helsinki) i la Biblioteca Central de Helsinki- Oodi<\/strong> que va guanyar l’any 2019 el premi a la millor Biblioteca P\u00fablica del m\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Ens va sorprendre la versatilitat del lloc i la quantitat de gent que en fa \u00fas de forma silenciosa d’aquest ‘espai. A la de Helsinki, per exemple, la planta baixa est\u00e0 pensada com un lloc de trobada per als habitants de la ciutat, amb un cinema, una sala polivalent, una sala d’exposicions d’art digital i un caf\u00e8-restaurant. La segona planta compta amb sales de reunions, oci, sales amb impressores 3D, estudis de gravaci\u00f3, espais per cosir… I a la tercera planta hi ha una biblioteca en un espai amb molta llum i arbres, amb col\u00b7leccions de llibres i seccions infantils amb rampes, escales de fusta, coixins per estimular la psicomotricitat i alhora el gust per la lectura. Un espai per passar-hi hores…<\/p>\n

Finland is one of the leading countries in library services. They provide all citizens with equal access to culture and information. We have given ourselves the opportunity to visit these two libraries: the Kirkkonummi Library (town located about 30 km west of Helsinki) and the Helsinki- Oodi Central Library which won in 2019 the award for the best Public Library in the world.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

We were surprised by the versatility of the place and how many people in it quietly make of this space. In Helsinki, for example, the first floor is intended as a meeting place for citiziens. The second floor has sales for meetings, leisure, sales with 3D printers, recording studios, spaces for sewing… And on the third floor there is a library in a space with a lot of trees, with collections of books and children’s sections with ramps, wooden stairs to stimulate psychomotor skills and now the taste for reading. A space to pass the hours…<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
