The first one is Minorca\u2019s history from the prehistoric era to the 21st century. It is essential to have an idea of the island\u2019s past to be able to understand the importance of the conclusions obtained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, the second and most important part of the project is composed by the four studies on the British inheritance in the actual Minorca: The linguistic influence, the architectural influence, the art influence and the cultural influence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Having said that, every research on the four topics that were just stated above is subdivided into one or more studies related to that area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To make sure that the information, which I was looking for, was reliable I decided to visit Minorca for three days. It was there where I did my researches by visiting museums related to the 18th century, taking many pictures that feature in my studies and interviewing two experts in my project topic: Amador Mar\u00ed Puig; a minorcan historian who has dedicated most of his career path studying Minorca\u2019s economy and society of the 18th and 19th century. Furthermore, Josefina Salord who is a linguist that has published many books with the aim of preserving the richness of Minorca\u2019s own language.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6635\" src=\"http:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/tarragones\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu549\/2017\/02\/menorca.jpg\" alt=\"menorca\" width=\"619\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/tarragones\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu549\/2017\/02\/menorca.jpg 619w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/tarragones\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu549\/2017\/02\/menorca-300x165.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 619px) 100vw, 619px\" \/><\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conclusions:<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After researching on the 18th century in Minorca and visiting the island itself I concluded that the British are gone but they left and impressive mark behind which now is part of the richness of this small singular Mediterranean island.
