La primera hip\u00f2tesi plantejada a l&#8217;inici del treball ser\u00e0 certa, \u00e9s a dir, efectivament els vegetals acolorits poden actuar com a indicadors naturals del pH gr\u00e0cies als seus pigments anomenats antocianines, que s\u00f3n els responsables del canvi de color en una reacci\u00f3.<br \/>\n2. Com a resposta a la segona hip\u00f2tesi plantejada contestarem que els indicadors<br \/>\nnaturals s\u00f3n m\u00e9s efectius que els indicadors sint\u00e8tics si volem valorar qualsevol tipus de subst\u00e0ncia, \u00e9s a dir, sigui b\u00e0sica, \u00e0cida o neutra, ja que s\u00f3n capa\u00e7os d\u2019indicar qualsevol pH amb un canvi de color notable i visible. Per\u00f2 si el que busquem \u00e9s determinar amb precisi\u00f3 el grau de basicitat o acidesa d\u2019una subst\u00e0ncia \u00e9s millor utilitzar un indicador sint\u00e8tic; per\u00f2, haurem de saber primerament si la subst\u00e0ncia \u00e9s \u00e0cida o \u00e9s b\u00e0sica per tal d\u2019escollir l&#8217;indicador adequat segons l&#8217;interval de viratge d\u2019aquest.<br \/>\n3. Encara que contenen el mateix pigment, s\u2019han demostrat que els 4 indicadors naturals prenen colors diferents quan els posem amb contacte amb subst\u00e0ncies b\u00e0siques. Aix\u00f2 potser \u00e9s degut a la pres\u00e8ncia d\u2019altres pigments que actuen com a indicadors naturals i mesclats amb les antocianines, fan que cada vegetal tingui una escala de colors caracter\u00edstica.<br \/>\n4.
