I per si aix\u00f2 fos poc, se li han encallat les matem\u00e0tiques. A casa seva, el seu pare comenta que la fam\u00edlia mai no ha estat de n\u00fameros. En escoltar-lo, la Sara es pregunta: per qu\u00e8 esfor\u00e7ar-se?<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s evident que la Sara est\u00e0 desmotivada. De fet, tristament, Sara \u00e9s part de les estad\u00edstiques que reflecteixen la creixent manca de motivaci\u00f3 acad\u00e8mica entre els adolescents a les aules. \u00c9s, per tant, urgent que treballem per canviar aquesta situaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Abans, per\u00f2, hem d&#8217;entendre que, si volem canviar aquesta realitat, primer hem d&#8217;anar m\u00e9s enll\u00e0: preguntar-nos el perqu\u00e8. I aix\u00f2 \u00e9s precisament el que ofereix la neuroci\u00e8ncia de l&#8217;aprenentatge . Aquest enfocament subratlla la import\u00e0ncia d&#8217;entendre l&#8217;arquitectura anat\u00f2mica i funcional del cervell, amb l&#8217;objectiu de potenciar-ne la salut i el rendiment.<\/p>\n<p>El cervell adolescent<br \/>\nContra el que es pugui pensar, el cervell adolescent no \u00e9s una versi\u00f3 redu\u00efda del cervell adult. En realitat, \u00e9s anat\u00f2mica i funcionalment diferent , cosa que explica per qu\u00e8 el seu comportament i necessitats s\u00f3n tamb\u00e9 diferents.<\/p>\n<p>Imaginem que la Sara es frustra i deixa les matem\u00e0tiques. Podr\u00edem percebre-la com una adolescent melodram\u00e0tica, intensa i impulsiva. Aquest tipus de comportament sovint s&#8217;atribueixen a les hormones. No obstant aix\u00f2, hem de saber que aix\u00f2 \u00e9s nom\u00e9s una part de la transformaci\u00f3 cerebral que experimenta el cervell de Sara .<\/p>\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3 de l&#8217; Institut de Neuroci\u00e8ncia Cognitiva de Londres suggereix que aquests comportaments s\u00f3n deguts a la maduraci\u00f3 lenta de l&#8217; escor\u00e7a prefrontal (sistema racional) i als canvis en el sistema l\u00edmbic (sistema emocional) durant la pubertat. Aquesta combinaci\u00f3 d&#8217;una escor\u00e7a prefrontal immadura i un sistema de recompensa m\u00e9s reactiu fa que els cervells adolescents funcionin de manera menys eficient que els adults en termes de planificaci\u00f3, toler\u00e0ncia a la frustraci\u00f3 i inhibici\u00f3 d&#8217;impulsos. \u00c9s a dir, s\u00f3n m\u00e9s propensos a sentir-se desbordats, estressats i superats .<\/p>\n<p>Motivaci\u00f3 acad\u00e8mica des de la neuroeducaci\u00f3. Aquesta idea \u00e9s especialment important en parlar de motivaci\u00f3, perqu\u00e8 el primer que hem d&#8217;entendre \u00e9s que el cervell sempre est\u00e0 escollint si s&#8217;espanta o es motiva . Si el cervell s&#8217;espanta, es prepara per fugir, buscant aix\u00ed que aquesta situaci\u00f3 s&#8217;acabi.
