Les imatges de conflictes com el de Gaza els hi arriben constantment, i la mort es banalitza fins a semblar irrellevant.<strong>\u00a0Les generacions joves perceben que els adults\u00a0<\/strong>no donem prou import\u00e0ncia a les matances que es produeixen arreu del m\u00f3n. Aquesta normalitzaci\u00f3 del dolor i de la p\u00e8rdua conviu, paradoxalment, amb una societat que amaga la mort en l\u2019\u00e0mbit quotidi\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durant els anys d\u2019exercici docent,\u00a0<strong>he viscut de prop la mort\u00a0<\/strong>de familiars directes de l\u2019alumnat. He vist infants plorar desconsoladament en parlar de la mare que acabaven de perdre; d\u2019altres es negaven a acceptar el que havia passat, i alguns, en un primer moment, semblaven no reaccionar, com si no ho haguessin ent\u00e8s. Totes aquestes respostes formen part d\u2019un proc\u00e9s natural. El dol no \u00e9s lineal ni uniforme, i cada criatura i cada persona el viu a la seva manera.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Per\u00f2, com es viu el dol a l\u2019escola?\u00a0<\/strong>(1) I, encara m\u00e9s, com es viu a la societat? Vivim, en gran part, d\u2019esquena a la realitat de la mort. Se\u2019ns empeny a comportar-nos com si no exist\u00eds, com si fos un fet que cal ocultar. En canvi, en altres contextos culturals o en \u00e8poques passades, la mort era present i visible. De petit, a pag\u00e8s, veia sovint animals morir. L\u2019acabament de la vida era un element m\u00e9s que es veia i acceptava amb normalitat. No era un succ\u00e9s feli\u00e7, era trist i dolor\u00f3s, per\u00f2 s\u2019acceptava i no s\u2019amagava.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tamb\u00e9 he viscut la mort de persones estimades en l\u2019\u00e0mbit familiar. Els meus pares van morir a casa, a la masia. Ens vam poder acomiadar: tota la fam\u00edlia podia estar a prop seu fins al darrer moment. I no nom\u00e9s perqu\u00e8 fos a un poble. El mateix va passar amb la mare de la meva dona, en un pis de ciutat.\u00a0<strong>Morir en un entorn conegut, acompanyat per persones estimades, aporta serenor<\/strong>. Fins i tot quan la consci\u00e8ncia sembla absent, la pres\u00e8ncia dels altres es percep i ajuda a tranquil\u00b7litzar a sentir-se acompanyat en els darrers moments. En canvi, l\u2019organitzaci\u00f3 social actual, per suposats motius d\u2019higiene i d\u2019organitzaci\u00f3 social, ens porta sovint a morir en hospitals, envoltats de professionals competents per\u00f2 desconeguts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La mort a casa facilita als familiars l\u2019elaboraci\u00f3 del dol. Permet recordar, compartir i donar sentit als vincles viscuts. En aquest context,<strong>\u00a0l\u2019escola no pot restar al marge<\/strong>. Hauria d\u2019ajudar a conviure amb la mort, a entendre-la com un element inseparable de la vida. No podem ser c\u00f2mplices d\u2019una cultura que promou l\u2019oblit r\u00e0pid, que convida a \u201cpassar p\u00e0gina\u201d com m\u00e9s aviat millor. Quan es produeix una mort dins la comunitat educativa, sovint s\u2019activen mecanismes d\u2019acompanyament. Per\u00f2 quan la p\u00e8rdua \u00e9s m\u00e9s distant \u2014un familiar, per exemple\u2014 no sempre hi ha protocols clars. Caldria sistematitzar aquest suport.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Acompanyar el dol no \u00e9s nom\u00e9s intervenir en situacions extremes, sin\u00f3 integrar aquesta realitat en la vida educativa. Tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s fonamental acompanyar\u00a0<strong>l\u2019alumnat amb malalties greus\u00a0<\/strong>o de llarga durada. L\u2019escola ocupa un espai central en la seva vida, i la seva pres\u00e8ncia \u2014encara que sigui a trav\u00e9s d\u2019aules hospital\u00e0ries o docents de refer\u00e8ncia\u2014 pot ajudar-los a afrontar la situaci\u00f3. Les malalties no s\u2019han d\u2019amagar. Cal fer costat a qui les pateix, sobretot quan el proc\u00e9s pot acabar amb la mort. Si l\u2019escola \u00e9s significativa en la vida d\u2019un infant, tamb\u00e9 ho ha de ser en els moments finals. Criatures i adolescents necessiten sentir-se acompanyats, no trobar-se sols.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hi ha, per\u00f2, altres formes de dol sovint invisibilitzades. El\u00a0<strong>dol migratori\u00a0<\/strong>n\u2019\u00e9s un exemple clar. Recordo una alumna de catorze anys que plorava cada tarda durant el seu primer trimestre al nostre pa\u00eds. Un altre alumne reaccionava amb agressivitat i el seu comportament s\u2019atribu\u00efa, err\u00f2niament, a la seva cultura d\u2019origen. En realitat, ambd\u00f3s expressaven p\u00e8rdues profundes.\u00a0<strong>La migraci\u00f3\u00a0<\/strong>\u00e9s un canvi que implica molts aspectes de la vida i de la persona; els amics i companys, els parents, l\u2019ambient de la ciutat o del poble; els costums, el clima, la vida al carrer; el que en diem cultura, m\u00fasica, folklore, festes, celebracions populars, rutines familiars\u2026 Els adults prenen aquesta decisi\u00f3 amb uns motius; els infants i adolescents, en canvi, sovint no l\u2019entenen.<\/p>\n<p>Per continuar llegint clica el seg\u00fcent enlla\u00e7 de &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/diarieducacio.cat\/els-dols-a-lescola\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>el diari de l&#8217;educaci\u00f3<\/strong><\/a>&#8220;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Els infants i adolescents d\u2019avui han vist a les pantalles centenars de morts.
