Des d\u2019una perspectiva evolutiva serveix perqu\u00e8 les persones deixem enrere la infantesa, inclosa la depend\u00e8ncia dels nostres progenitors, i anem adquirint progressivament les caracter\u00edstiques f\u00edsiques i mentals pr\u00f2pies de la joventut i l\u2019adultesa. Aix\u00f2 inclou la capacitat d\u2019establir els vincles socials i emocionals propis de l\u2019adultesa, un proc\u00e9s que sovint fan per assaig i error i q\u00fcestionant, i de vegades tamb\u00e9 traspassant, els l\u00edmits establerts.<\/p>\n<p>Des d\u2019un enfocament sociobiol\u00f2gic, un dels trets m\u00e9s destacats d\u2019aquest per\u00edode \u00e9s que s\u2019allunyen emocionalment de les relacions d\u2019infantesa per enfortir les que fan amb els seus iguals, que adquireixen una import\u00e0ncia cabdal. Una de les maneres m\u00e9s eficients de fer-ho \u00e9s a trav\u00e9s de la imitaci\u00f3. \u00c9s una eina natural i necess\u00e0ria dins del proc\u00e9s de construcci\u00f3 de la identitat personal. Amb la imitaci\u00f3, els adolescents contraposen la seva manera de pensar i d\u2019actuar amb la dels seus companys i companyes, i aix\u00f2 els permet explorar qui s\u00f3n, qui i qu\u00e8 volen ser, i com encaixen i qu\u00e8 han de fer per encaixar dins del seu grup d\u2019iguals. Per aix\u00f2 a l\u2019adolesc\u00e8ncia el sentiment de pertinen\u00e7a i la necessitat de ser acceptats els impulsen a fer el que fan els altres adolescents, o all\u00f2 que creuen que les persones del seu grup d\u2019iguals volen que facin.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"ara-body-title\">Quines conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies t\u00e9?<\/h3>\n<p>Ara b\u00e9, \u00bfcom pot influir aquest comportament en la seva identitat, autoestima i salut mental? Diversos treballs publicats recentment, entre els quals destaca el realitzat pel psic\u00f2leg sud-afric\u00e0 Lawrence E. Ugwu i els seus col\u00b7laboradors a\u00a0<em>Scientific Reports<\/em>, posen l\u2019\u00e8mfasi en les conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies negatives que pot tenir aquest proc\u00e9s si no va acompanyat d\u2019un suport emocional per part dels adults del seu entorn i sense un treball de reflexi\u00f3 adequat.<\/p>\n<p>Imitar la manera de vestir, parlar, moure\u2019s o fins i tot de pensar dels amics els ajuda a sentir-se integrats, a reduir les incerteses que planen al seu voltant, per exemple pel que fa al seu futur, i a evitar el rebuig. Tamb\u00e9 els ajuda a construir el seu\u00a0<em>jo<\/em>, experimentant identitats alienes abans de definir la pr\u00f2pia. Aquesta conducta pot ser conscient o inconscient, i s\u2019intensifica quan l\u2019adolescent percep que l\u2019altra persona \u00e9s molt valorada dins del grup.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s en aquest context que la pressi\u00f3 del grup, sumada\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ara.cat\/media\/servira-prohibir-xarxes-als-adolescents_1_5387688.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-mrf-link=\"https:\/\/www.ara.cat\/media\/servira-prohibir-xarxes-als-adolescents_1_5387688.html\">a la influ\u00e8ncia de les xarxes socials\u00a0<\/a>i dels mitjans, pot convertir-se en un factor decisiu. Els estudis de neuroimatge han mostrat que l\u2019exclusi\u00f3 social activa les mateixes \u00e0rees cerebrals que el dolor f\u00edsic.
