\nEl Dia Internacional del Poble Gitano se celebra a escala mundial el 8 d\u2019abril. Aquesta data commemora el Congr\u00e9s Mundial del poble Roman\u00ed celebrat a Londres el 8 d’abril de 1971, en el qual es va instituir la bandera i l’himne gitano, i esdev\u00e9 des de fa anys una diada de reivindicaci\u00f3 de drets i llibertats per part del moviment associatiu gitano.<\/p>\n

Amb motiu d\u2019aquesta data es duen a terme diferents celebracions per part de m\u00faltiples institucions nacionals i internacionals. A la Cerim\u00f2nia del Riu es fa una ofrena on es llancen p\u00e8tals de flors com a s\u00edmbol de llibertat i en record de l\u2019\u00e8xode del poble roman\u00ed i s’encenen espelmes a la vora del riu en mem\u00f2ria de les v\u00edctimes d\u2019atacs xen\u00f2fobs i racistes i especialment en record dels avantpassats que van patir l\u2019holocaust nazi.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
