Pel que fa a les empreses, especialment a les grans ia les transnacionals, se&#8217;ls demana que actu\u00efn de forma m\u00e9s sostenible i transparent. Els poders p\u00fablics tamb\u00e9 poden fer molt, a trav\u00e9s de les pol\u00edtiques fiscals i de contractaci\u00f3, i d&#8217;impuls a la conscienciaci\u00f3 social sobre desenvolupament i estils de vida sostenibles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tant la p\u00e8rdua de productes i materials valuosos, com els problemes derivats de la gesti\u00f3 i els efectes nocius sobre el medi ambient i la salut humana, mostren que cal fer un \u00fas molt m\u00e9s eficient dels recursos naturals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aix\u00ed es fan necessaris canvis profunds per generalitzar sistemes de producci\u00f3 i consum sostenibles que evitin la generaci\u00f3 de residus a trav\u00e9s de la prevenci\u00f3, la reducci\u00f3, el reciclatge i la reutilitzaci\u00f3. Especialment, un nou paradigma empresarial en qu\u00e8 es desenvolupin models de negoci dins de l&#8217;economia circular que mantingui el valor dels materials.
