Sebasti\u00e0 Juan Arb\u00f3 \u00e9s l\u2019escriptor m\u00e9s reconegut de la comarca. Neix el 28 d\u2019octubre de 1902 a Sant Carles de la R\u00e0pita, traslladant-se als vuit anys a viure a Amposta amb els seus pares pagesos.<\/p>\n

Al 1921 es trasllada a Barcelona amb els manuscrits de les seves primeres obres, publicant al 1931 “L\u2019in\u00fatil combat” i un any despr\u00e9s “Terres de l\u2019Ebre”, amb la qual obt\u00e9 el premi Fastenrath al 1935.<\/p>\n

Al 1948 guanya el premi Nadal amb l\u2019obra “Sobre las piedras grises” i un any abans publica la seva obra m\u00e9s important “Tino Costa”, que va ser passada a cap\u00edtols per televisi\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Mor a Barcelona al 1984, deixant una extensa producci\u00f3 liter\u00e0ria principalment en catal\u00e0, per\u00f2 que tamb\u00e9 abasta obres de teatre i col\u00b7laboracions a la premsa, aix\u00ed com producci\u00f3 biogr\u00e0fica com “Cervantes”, tradu\u00efda a diversos idiomes.<\/p>\n
