El llibre \u00e9s una an\u00e0lisi sociol\u00f2gica del paper del professorat en el proc\u00e9s de canvi educatiu, concretament el paper del professorat com agent de canvi en l&#8217;\u00e0mbit espec\u00edfic de la coeducaci\u00f3. L&#8217;autor intenta aprofundir en dos \u00e0mbits d&#8217;investigaci\u00f3: l&#8217;estudi del paper de l&#8217;escola en la reproducci\u00f3 de les desigualtats socials, i la participaci\u00f3 de la sociologia en els processos d&#8217;investigaci\u00f3 &#8211; acci\u00f3 educativa.
