The webinar has two parts. First, we will reflect on how through literature representing various cultures, children not only learn about others but also see themselves reflected in narratives, fostering a sense of belonging and identity. Second, we will provide an example of how to tell a story that allows children to recognize diverse languages. By embracing storytelling and multicultural literature in early education, educators empower children to foster curiosity and respect for cultural diversity, establishing the groundwork for inclusive attitudes and global citizenship from a young age. Join us on this exciting journey where we unlock the magic of multicultural storytelling together!”

INSCRIPCIÓ I INFORMACIÓ

Maria Mont
English teacher, Mum of two wonderful kids, Teacher educator, Etwinning moderator, UAB professor & Lifelong learner.

Dolors Masats
Dolors Masats is a senior lecturer and researcher at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and member of the Research Group for Education, Interaction and Plurilingualism at the same institution.
