La participaci\u00f3 \u00e9s un proc\u00e9s gradual que els va dotant de coneixements i eines segons prenen part de manera activa en diferents projectes participatius. La Convenci\u00f3 sobre els Drets dels Infants, reconeix el dret a la participaci\u00f3 d\u2019infants i joves que inclou el dret d\u2019opinar lliurement sobre els assumptes que l\u2019afecten, la llibertat d\u2019expressi\u00f3, la llibertat de pensament, consci\u00e8ncia i religi\u00f3, la llibertat d\u2019associaci\u00f3, l\u2019acc\u00e9s a la informaci\u00f3 i el dret a la protecci\u00f3 de la vida privada. D\u2019altra banda els projectes que promouen la participaci\u00f3 fomenten la formaci\u00f3 en valors i permeten desenvolupar compet\u00e8ncies educatives.
