Demis Hassabis, un prodigi dels escacs, va abandonar les competicions per dedicar-se a desenvolupar una IA general amb aquest objectiu.\u00a0El documental mostra com la seva traject\u00f2ria el va portar a crear DeepMind, una empresa que despr\u00e9s va comprar Google i que entre altres fites ha desentrellat el plegament de prote\u00efnes.
