El Grup d\u2019Estudi de Lleng\u00fces Amena\u00e7ades es va crear l\u2019any 1992 amb l\u2019objectiu de promoure la recerca en lleng\u00fces amena\u00e7ades i donar a con\u00e8ixer la diversitat ling\u00fc\u00edstica i el seu valor. D\u2019aleshores en\u00e7\u00e0, el GELA ha organitzat nombroses activitats en tres \u00e0mbits fonamentals: la recerca, l\u2019educaci\u00f3, i la dinamitzaci\u00f3 cultural.
