La candidatura Geoparc Conca de Tremp-Montsec, que opta a esdevenir Geoparc Mundial de la Unesco,\u00a0ha quedat posposada a l’espera dels resultats d’un estudi\u00a0comparatiu entre la candidatura pallaresa i l’adjacent Geoparc Mundial de Sobrarbe (Huesca).\u00a0Aquest estudi, que presentar\u00e0 en els propers mesos,\u00a0ha de servir per determinar si existeix un patrimoni geol\u00f2gic similar entre els dos territoris.<\/p>\n

Aquesta \u00e9s, a grans trets, la conclusi\u00f3 principal de l’informe em\u00e8s pel Consell Mundial de Geoparcs, que es va reunir el 24 i 25 de setembre a Torquay (Anglaterra). Segons fonts de la candidatura, l’informe \u00e9s molt favorable, ja que destaca un seguit de punts forts.\u00a0Entre ells, el Consell Mundial de Geoparcs valora la solidesa de l’\u00f2rgan de gesti\u00f3, el ric patrimoni cultural del territori i el finan\u00e7ament estable de la candidatura, assumit per la Diputaci\u00f3 de Lleida, el Departament de Territori i per les quotes dels propis socis.<\/p>\n

Entre altres punts, tamb\u00e9 destaca l’estrat\u00e8gia de desenvolupament sostenible del territori,\u00a0la feina feta per les organitzacions associades al projecte Geoparc, especialment les activitats econ\u00f2miques relacionades amb el turisme, aix\u00ed com el rol del Geoparc com a catalitzador per cohesionar el territori sota la seva marca.<\/p>\n

La candidatura pallaresa disposa, a m\u00e9s, de dos\u00a0informes positius del patrimoni geol\u00f2gic d’import\u00e0ncia internacional de la International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS).\u00a0Tot sembla indicar, doncs, que el Geoparc Conca de Tremp-Montsec podria tirar endavant un cop presentat l’estudi requerit pel Consell Mundial de Geoparcs i pel que ja s’ha posat a treballar.<\/p>\n

A banda de l’esmentat estudi comparatiu, l’informe tamb\u00e9 inclou una s\u00e8rie de recomanacions. Entre elles, el Consell Mundial de Geoparcs insta el projecte trempol\u00ed a millorar la utilitzaci\u00f3 del logo i la imatge de la marca.\u00a0El Consell Mundial de Geoparcs tamb\u00e9 recomana a la candidatura pallaresa el refor\u00e7 del paper de la dona en c\u00e0rrecs directius dins del personal de l’Associaci\u00f3 Geoparc, d’acord amb els principis de la Unesco, o una millora del treball en xarxa amb altres Geoparcs mundials.<\/p>\n
