Dimecres 7 de febrer alumnes de 2n de Batxillerat de l\u2019Institut Frederic Mompou (Sant Vicen\u00e7 dels Horts) i de l\u2019Institut Francesc Maci\u00e0 (Cornell\u00e0 de Llobregat) han fet conjuntament la sortida de camp per investigar la formaci\u00f3 de les Escletxes del Papiol i estudiar els fen\u00f2mens de vessant que es produeixen en aquesta zona.
\n\"\"<\/a>Han comen\u00e7at formulant hip\u00f2tesis de com s\u2019han pogut formar les Escletxes i suggerint idees per abordar es seu estudi. A continuaci\u00f3 es han dividit en grups de treball i han identificat els materials de la zona, la seva composici\u00f3 i les seves caracter\u00edstiques.<\/p>\n

Posteriorment han accedit a sis escletxes per estudiar-les amb detall, fent mesures d\u2019amplada, profunditat, inclinaci\u00f3 i direcci\u00f3.
\n\"\"<\/a>Un cop posades totes les dades en com\u00fa es han dedu\u00eft les causes i el proc\u00e9s de formaci\u00f3. Han arribat a la conclusi\u00f3 que les roques superficials on es troben les escletxes (calc\u00e0ries) han patit un proc\u00e9s d\u2019alteraci\u00f3 i fracturaci\u00f3 que ha perm\u00e8s a l\u2019aigua infiltrar-se fins al nivell inferior (argiles). El comportament pl\u00e0stic de les argiles saturades d\u2019aigua i la inclinaci\u00f3 del vessant ha provocat el lliscament de les calc\u00e0ries i el progressiu eixamplament de les esquerdes fins a formar les escletxes actuals.
\nFinalment han fet un recorregut pel nucli urb\u00e0 del Papiol observant m\u00e9s exemples de fen\u00f2mens de vessant i han completat la feina calculant el risc que suposa per les persones.
