Despr\u00e9s, dividits en 9 equips de treball i amb el material que duien a cadascuna de les motxilles de camp (martell de ge\u00f2leg, \u00e0cid clorh\u00eddric i aigua), han analitzat la consist\u00e8ncia, la resist\u00e8ncia, la impermeabilitat, la ductilitat i la pres\u00e8ncia de carbonats en ambd\u00f3s materials. Amb l&#8217;ajuda d&#8217;una taula dicot\u00f2mica han identificat els materials superiors com a calc\u00e0ries fossil\u00edferes (lumaquel\u00b7les) i els inferiors com a lutites (argiles).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-21824\" src=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2025\/01\/1-2-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"252\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2025\/01\/1-2-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2025\/01\/1-2.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 252px) 100vw, 252px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despr\u00e9s d&#8217;una pausa per esmorzar, han pres diferents mesures de les 6 escletxes principals: direcci\u00f3, inclinaci\u00f3 de\u00a0les parets, profunditat i els despla\u00e7aments horitzontal i vertical. Amb totes les dades recollides, analitzant els fen\u00f2mens impulsors i de resist\u00e8ncia, han pogut elaborar un model te\u00f2ric de com s\u2019havien pogut formar, arribant a la seg\u00fcent conclusi\u00f3: com que les roques calc\u00e0ries es degraden a causa de l&#8217;aigua de la pluja, lleugerament \u00e0cida, aquest efecte al llarg de milions d\u2019anys faria que les esquerdes s&#8217;anessin eixamplant i aprofundint fins permetre a l&#8217;aigua arribar a les argiles inferiors. Quan plou, les argiles es tornen fangoses i es comporten de manera pl\u00e0stica. Aix\u00f2 juntament amb el pendent hauria provocat que les calc\u00e0ries llisquessin vessant avall fins a formar el fenomen geol\u00f2gic que veiem avui dia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tenint en compte l&#8217;impacte que t\u00e9 aquest fenomen a les infraestructures del poble del Papiol, han calculat el risc que suposa aquest proc\u00e9s de vessant per les fa\u00e7anes de les cases i altres construccions, tenint en compte el cost dels b\u00e9ns exposats, la vulnerabilitat i la probabilitat dels danys o per\u00edode de retorn (perillositat).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Han gaudit molt passant d&#8217;una esquerda a una altra mentre aprenien sobre geologia i possibles riscos de vessant.
