Aquestes instal\u00b7lacions\u00a0 poden funcionar de manera a\u00efllada (amb acumuladors o bateries) o b\u00e9 \u00a0interconnectades a la xarxa el\u00e8ctrica, tant per l\u2019autoconsum (per reduir la factura el\u00e8ctrica) com per a la producci\u00f3 el\u00e8ctrica (venda d&#8217;energia al sector majorista d&#8217;electricitat).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Funcionament<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les plaques fotovoltaiques estan formades per un conjunt d\u2019unitats b\u00e0siques anomenades <strong>c\u00e8l\u00b7lules fotovoltaiques<\/strong>. Aquestes c\u00e8l\u00b7lules estan constitu\u00efdes \u00a0per un semiconductor format per \u00a0la uni\u00f3 de dos discs de silici pur que han estat dopats amb elements que li donen caracter\u00edstiques oposades: un disc dopat amb bor (capa P) t\u00e9 d\u00e8ficit (espais lliures) d&#8217;electrons quan hi incideix la llum, mentre que l\u2019altre disc, dopat amb arseni (capa N)\u00a0 hi ha un exc\u00e9s\u00a0 d\u2019 electrons .<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-15317 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/solar_cell-300x203.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/solar_cell-300x203.jpg 300w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/solar_cell.jpg 670w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Quan la llum solar incideix sobre la c\u00e8l\u00b7lula, \u00a0en la zona de contacte entre la capa P- N es produeix la difusi\u00f3 d\u2019electrons de la capa N cap a la capa P. Uns contactes el\u00e8ctrics canalitzen aquest moviment d\u2019electrons de manera que es genera un corrent el\u00e8ctric continu.<\/p>\n<p>Una \u00a0c\u00e8l\u00b7lula solar genera voltatges molt petits (d\u00e8cimes de volt)\u00a0 i una pot\u00e8ncia m\u00e0xima de 1 o 2 watts. Per tal d\u2019aconseguir tensions m\u00e9s elevades es connecten en s\u00e8rie diverses c\u00e8l\u00b7lules, constituint el que anomenem placa o panell fotovoltaic.<\/p>\n<p>Actualment hi ha panells que proporcionen 900 W en condicions \u00f2ptimes. Les instal\u00b7lacions fotovoltaiques assoleixen\u00a0 pot\u00e8ncies considerables connectant diversos panells, ja sigui en s\u00e8rie ( es sumen les tensions i es mant\u00e9 la intensitat), ja sigui en paral\u00b7lel ( es sumen les intensitats i es mant\u00e9 la tensi\u00f3) o b\u00e9 en configuracions mixtes.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Altres components de les instal\u00b7lacions fotovoltaiques<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Inversors de CC\/CA\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s l\u2019element encarregat de transformar el corrent continu (CC) produ\u00eft pels panells fotovoltaics en corrent altern (CA) de les mateixes caracter\u00edstiques de tensi\u00f3 i freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia de la xarxa el\u00e8ctrica (230 V)Punt de connexi\u00f3<\/p>\n<p><strong>Punt de connexi\u00f3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s el punt on s\u2019interconnecta la instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 fotovoltaica amb la xarxa el\u00e8ctrica. Les instal\u00b7lacions generadores de venda d\u2019energia han d\u2019implementar un comptador d\u2019energia injectada a la xarxa el\u00e8ctrica.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proteccions contra sobretensions (varistors)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El protector de sobretensions (varistor) \u00e9s un element de protecci\u00f3 que est\u00e0 destinat a protegir la instal\u00b7laci\u00f3, principalment, contra les sobretensions transit\u00f2ries d\u2019origen atmosf\u00e8ric.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Import\u00e0ncia d&#8217;una correcta orientaci\u00f3<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Per a un m\u00e0xim aprofitament de l&#8217;energia del sol \u00e9s clau que els raigs incideixin perpendicularment sobre la placa fotovoltaica. Donat que el sol es va movent (aparentment) durant tot el dia, des que surt fins que es pon, l&#8217;ideal seria que la placa fotovoltaica segu\u00eds el moviment del sol. Per motius t\u00e8cnics i econ\u00f2mics la soluci\u00f3 m\u00e9s habitual \u00e9s deixar la placa en una posici\u00f3 fixa. Caldria buscar un punt mig, que correspondria a l&#8217;al\u00e7ada m\u00e0xima del sol a l&#8217;horitz\u00f3 dels equinoccis de primavera o de tardor. Aquesta al\u00e7ada correspon a la latitud del lloc.
