El podem sentir en pinedes i vinyes durant l&#8217;estiu.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qu\u00e8 fan quan no \u00e9s estiu?<\/strong> Moren abans que arribi el fred.<\/p>\n<p>Els hom\u00f2pters s\u00f3n un grup d&#8217;insectes (recorda que tots tenen sis potes) que tenen molta incid\u00e8ncia sobre l&#8217;agricultura. D&#8217;entre ells les cigales s\u00f3n les m\u00e9s grans i poden tenir fins a uns quants cent\u00edmetres de llargada. Les ales de les cigales\u00a0 tenen forma de teulada i t\u00e9 el cap dirigit cap avall (hip\u00f2gnat). Tenen dos ungles a cada pota.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Com s&#8217;alimenten?<\/strong> S\u00f3n picadors i\u00a0 xucladors de la saba de les plantes, per tant s\u00f3n <strong>herb\u00edvors<\/strong>. Les nimfes en sortir es deixan caure i s&#8217;alimenten de la saba de les arrels. Tenen cinc estadis nimfals.
