Sovint fem servir un vocabulari poc usual i parlem d\u2019una hist\u00f2ria que atresora m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 del que l\u2019esp\u00e8cie humana ha viscut. El Camp d\u2019aprenentatge s&#8217;ha dedicat prop de 40 anys acompanyant a infants, joves i docents a meravellant-se i descobrir la natura de Collserola com a \u201c<strong>b\u00e9 com\u00fa<\/strong>\u201d. Durant tots aquests anys successius hi assisteixen entre 2.500 i 4.000 nois i noies a l&#8217;any en edat escolar.<\/p>\n<p>Pels que en vulgueu aprofundir en la geologia de Collserola volem deixar dues fonts documentals. La primera recerca sobre la geologia catalana i, en concret, de Collserola, va anar de la ma del te\u00f2leg i ge\u00f2leg Jaume Almera (1879). Posteriorment s\u2019han fet nombrosos estudis, de divulgaci\u00f3 i cient\u00edfics. Amb la finalitat educativa que ens ocupa, destaquem l&#8217;inter\u00e8s de la publicaci\u00f3 <a href=\"https:\/\/llibreria.diba.cat\/cat\/llibre\/guia-de-geologia-de-collserola-amb-itineraris_43473\">Guia de Geologia de Collserola<\/a> (Al\u00edas, G. et al, 2008). (<em>Imatge del mapa geol\u00f2gic de l&#8217;ICGC: colors: morat-Ordovici\u00e0, rosa-Siluri\u00e0, taronja-Siluri\u00e0-Devoni\u00e0, gris-Quaternari<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>EL SUBSTRAT DE LA RIERADA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les roques del substrat de la Rierada formen part del relleu de la vall de la riera de Vallvidrera, dels turons que l\u2019envolten, de les fonts, de les terres f\u00e8rtils i dels materials emprats per la construcci\u00f3, des de les parets de pedra seca, fins les pr\u00f2pies cases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>El s\u00f2ls<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Els pobladors \u00edbers, els romans i els agricultors, fins l\u2019actualitat, han aprofitat els s\u00f2ls de Collserola per a diversos conreus i, sobretot, per la vinya. El s\u00f2l \u00e9s la capa superior de l\u2019escor\u00e7a terrestre composta per una barreja de part\u00edcules minerals, mat\u00e8ria org\u00e0nica, aigua, aire i organismes vius. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-15265\" src=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/sol-219x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"205\" srcset=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/sol-219x300.jpg 219w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/sol.jpg 629w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/>El s\u00f2l de Collserola, s\u2019ha format principalment sobre pissarres i fil\u00b7lites paleozoiques, b\u00e0sicament de naturalesa sil\u00edcica, i en determina el paisatge vegetal d&#8217;alzinars, brolles i pinedes. El substrat pissarr\u00f3s de la Serra de Collserola, facilita certa impermeabilitat del mass\u00eds i la porositat proporcionada per les fractures m\u00e9s superficials i dels s\u00f2ls, permet emmagatzemar-hi les aig\u00fces de pluja i drenar-les lentament fins el curs principal de la riera. Fins i tot, despr\u00e9s de llargs per\u00edodes secs, la riera mant\u00e9 nombrosos trams amb aig\u00fces superficials que prov\u00e9 del drenatge del subs\u00f2l (<\/span><em style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 1em;\">Imatge de la font de l&#8217;Espinagar i de la riera de Vallvidrera<\/em><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 1em;\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>LES ROQUES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les roques de la Rierada, aix\u00ed com la majoria de materials de Collserola, s\u00f3n <strong>paleozoiques<\/strong>, amb un rang d\u2019edat que van de l\u2019Ordovici\u00e0 fins el Carbon\u00edfer (de 450 a 350 milions d\u2019anys). Aquests materials es formaren en ambients sedimentaris marins, i es veieren involucrats en un proc\u00e9s de col\u00b7lisi\u00f3 de plaques tect\u00f2niques que don\u00e0 lloc a la Serralada Herciniana al sud d\u2019Europa i nord d\u2019\u00c0frica fa uns 350 milions d\u2019anys.<\/p>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9 hi trobem formacions sediment\u00e0ries d\u2019edat <strong>quatern\u00e0ria<\/strong> (d&#8217;un mili\u00f3 d\u2019anys) i <strong>s\u00f2ls<\/strong> evolucionats durant els darrers milers d\u2019anys.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les pissarres<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-15270\" src=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/pissarra-300x165.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"165\" srcset=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/pissarra-300x165.jpg 300w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/pissarra-1024x564.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/pissarra-768x423.jpg 768w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/pissarra.jpg 1031w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>A la major part de la vall de la Rierada hi ha afloraments de pissarres d\u2019edat ordoviciana. Les pissarres s\u00f3n roques formades per <strong>metamorfisme<\/strong> de grau baix de roques lut\u00edtiques. Els seus principals constituents s\u00f3n minerals del grup dels silicats: argiles, miques, quars, pirita i mat\u00e8ria org\u00e0nica. Es trenquen en plans paral\u00b7lels degut a que les argiles i les miques s\u00f3n materials laminars i poden adoptar una orientaci\u00f3 preferent, ja sigui per les pressions elevades per enterrament, pels processos tect\u00f2nics o pels processos metam\u00f2rfics de cristal\u00b7litzaci\u00f3 orientada.<\/p>\n<p>Les pissarres es formen en aig\u00fces oce\u00e0niques molt profundes, llacunes, llacs i pantans on l&#8217;aigua encara \u00e9s suficient per permetre que les part\u00edcules d&#8217;argila i llim extremadament fines s&#8217;assentin al terra. Els ge\u00f2legs estimen que les pissarres representen gaireb\u00e9 \u00be de la roca sediment\u00e0ria de l&#8217;escor\u00e7a terrestre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les fil\u00b7lites<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La fil\u00b7lita \u00e9s una roca de metamorfisme regional feble, derivada de sediments argilosos, formada per clorita, moscovita i quars, que li donen colors que van dels verds als grisos i un aspecte sed\u00f3s. Presenta un clivatge marcat i es trenca en plans seguint l\u2019orientaci\u00f3 d\u2019aquest clivatge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Els filons de quars<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-15271 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/filo-300x196.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"263\" height=\"172\" srcset=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/filo-300x196.jpg 300w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/filo-1024x669.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/filo-768x501.jpg 768w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/filo.jpg 1219w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 263px) 100vw, 263px\" \/>Entre els plans de trencament de les pissarres s\u2019hi troba un mineral blanc, el quars, que a vedades les travessa. Aquest mineral precipita a partir de solucions aquoses molt calentes (fluids hidrotermals) que circulen pel subs\u00f2l aprofitant fissures i discontinu\u00eftats de les roques. Quan troben unes condicions favorables, precipiten en forma de filons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les quarsites<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-15272\" src=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/quarsita-300x154.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"291\" height=\"149\" srcset=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/quarsita-300x154.jpg 300w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/quarsita-1024x525.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/quarsita-768x394.jpg 768w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/quarsita.jpg 1315w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 291px) 100vw, 291px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>En alternan\u00e7a amb les pissarres, es troben capes de quarsites d\u2019edat ordoviciana. Aquestes capes tenen un gruix de pocs cent\u00edmetres, color gris fosc i s\u00f3n molt dures. La major duresa es deu a la seva composici\u00f3 majorit\u00e0ria de quars.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les calc\u00e0ries<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A prop de Sant Bartomeu de la Quadra, a les antigues pedreres de les Penyes d\u2019en Castellv\u00ed, es troben un conjunt de roques carbonatades del tr\u00e0nsit Siluri\u00e0-Devoni\u00e0 i se solen designar \u201cgriotte\u201d. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-15273 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/griotte-300x192.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"192\" srcset=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/griotte-300x192.jpg 300w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/griotte-768x493.jpg 768w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/griotte.jpg 778w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Aquest tipus de calc\u00e0ries ha estat utilitzat com a material de construcci\u00f3 i ornamental. Les calc\u00e0ries s\u00f3n roques formades principalment per calcita. Tot i que les calc\u00e0ries poden tenir diferents or\u00edgens, la majoria es formen per l\u2019acumulaci\u00f3 de conquilles i altres restes esquel\u00e8tiques de carbonat c\u00e0lcic que segreguen nombrosos organismes. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-15280\" src=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/penyes-Castellvi-300x236.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"236\" srcset=\"https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/penyes-Castellvi-300x236.jpg 300w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/penyes-Castellvi-1024x804.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/penyes-Castellvi-768x603.jpg 768w, https:\/\/serveiseducatius.xtec.cat\/cda-cansantoi\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu1385\/2022\/07\/penyes-Castellvi.jpg 1169w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>A m\u00e9s dels fragments, tamb\u00e9 contenen una fracci\u00f3 microcristal\u00b7lina i tots els components estan units per ciment carbonatat (<em>Imatges de les calc\u00e0ries &#8220;griotte&#8221; i de l\u2019antiga pedrera de les Penyes d\u2019en Castellv\u00ed<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>SEDIMENTS ARGILOSOS QUATERNARIS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A fons de la vall de la Rierada i en especial a prop de la masia de Can Castellv\u00ed, es troben unes formacions sediment\u00e0ries d\u2019argila vermellosa. \u00c9s com\u00fa a la Rierada i a molts vessants del Baix Llobregat, trobar-hi aquestes formacions argiloses en les que s\u2019hi van desenvolupar l precipitaci\u00f3 de carbonat de calci en forma de n\u00f2duls de color clar, amb formes irregulars i de mida centim\u00e8trica. Tamb\u00e9 es feien el morter a partir de forns de cal\u00e7 que els mateixos habitants sabien fer.
