En cada edici\u00f3 es promou la celebraci\u00f3 d&#8217;actes comuns a tot Europa, basats en una mateixa metodologia i amb l\u2019objectiu com\u00fa d\u2019augmentar el seu impacte real en la prevenci\u00f3 de residus. Una setmana per a:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Donar a con\u00e8ixer estrat\u00e8gies de reducci\u00f3 de residus i la pol\u00edtica de la Uni\u00f3 Europea i dels seus Estats membres en aquesta mat\u00e8ria.<\/li>\n<li>Fomentar accions sostenibles per reduir els residus arreu d&#8217;Europa.<\/li>\n<li>Fer p\u00fablic les tasques dutes a terme pels diversos actors mitjan\u00e7ant exemples concrets de reducci\u00f3 de residus.<\/li>\n<li>Fer canviar el comportament quotidi\u00e0 dels europeus (consum, producci\u00f3).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En aquest <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/kmjwOke1-4U?si=FkVaJUyL1Wsg4Nj3\"><strong>video<\/strong><\/a> podeu trobar algunes idees de com podeu participar des dels centres educatius en la Setmana Europea de la Prevenci\u00f3 de Residus. La generaci\u00f3 de residus d&#8217;envasos a la UE ha augmentat de 66 milions de tones el 2009 a 78,5 milions de tones el 2019 (que representa 173 kg per habitant). Per fer front a aquesta situaci\u00f3, el desembre de 2020, la Comissi\u00f3 va establir l&#8217;objectiu que tots els envasos haurien de ser reutilitzables o reciclables d&#8217;una manera econ\u00f2micament viable per l&#8217;any 2030 amb l&#8217;objectiu de reduir els envasos, el sobreembalatge i, per tant, els residus d&#8217;envasos.
