La segona edici\u00f3 revisada d\u2019aquestes Directrius ha estat desenvolupada per donar suport als professionals que treballen en biblioteques escolars, aix\u00ed com als gestors dels centres educatius en els seus esfor\u00e7os per garantir que tot l\u2019alumnat i professorat tenen acc\u00e9s a programes i serveis efectius de biblioteca escolar, prove\u00efts per personal bibliotecari qualificat.<\/p>\n

Les Directrius IFLA per a la biblioteca escolar s\u00f3n el resultat del treball dels membres del Comit\u00e8 Permanent de l\u2019IFLA Section of School Libraries i el Comit\u00e8 Executiu de la International Association of School Librarianship (IASL), aix\u00ed com d\u2019altres membres de la comunitat internacional de biblioteca escolar que han compartit els seus coneixements i passi\u00f3 pel projecte.<\/p>\n

Aquesta segona edici\u00f3 de les Directrius representa, respecte a la primera edici\u00f3, una actualitzaci\u00f3 del desenvolupament professional del bibliotecari escolar en el context de la segona d\u00e8cada del s. XXI, amb tots els canvis tecnol\u00f2gics, socials i culturals que s\u2019han produ\u00eft i que es continuen succeint en un entorn cada cop m\u00e9s canviant.<\/p>\n
