l&#8217;Assemblea General de les Nacions Unides va proclamar l&#8217;<strong>11 de febrer<\/strong> de cada any com al <em><strong>Dia Internacional de les Dones i les Nenes en la Ci\u00e8ncia<\/strong><\/em> per tal de <strong>promoure<\/strong> la participaci\u00f3 plena i en condicions d&#8217;<strong>igualtat<\/strong> de les dones i les nenes en l&#8217;educaci\u00f3, la capacitaci\u00f3, l&#8217;ocupaci\u00f3 i els processos d&#8217;adopci\u00f3 de decisions en la ci\u00e8ncia, i <strong>eliminar<\/strong> tota mena de discriminaci\u00f3 contra les dones en les esferes de l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 i l&#8217;ocupaci\u00f3, tot trencant les barreres jur\u00eddiques, econ\u00f2miques, socials i culturals mitjan\u00e7ant pol\u00edtiques i plans d&#8217;estudi en el camp de la ci\u00e8ncia per fomentar una major participaci\u00f3 de les dones i les nenes i recon\u00e8ixer-ne els seus \u00e8xits.<\/p>\n<p>Es va celebrar per primera vegada l&#8217;11 de febrer de
