Alguns cient\u00edfics dubten de la seva exist\u00e8ncia, sobretot tenint en compte els lligams econ\u00f2mics entre alguns investigadors i les principals empreses farmac\u00e8utiques.<\/p>\n<p>Lent, endormiscat, oblidad\u00eds, ap\u00e0tic, amb tend\u00e8ncia a somniar despert\u2026 Aquests s\u00f3n els s\u00edmptomes d\u2019un infant amb tempo cognitiu lent, un suposat transtorn mental que provoca d\u00e8ficit d\u2019atenci\u00f3 i que recentment ha suscitat un en\u00e8rgic debat entre la comunitat cient\u00edfica, despr\u00e9s que la publicaci\u00f3 sobre psicopatologies infantils The Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology li hagi dedicat una extensa cobertura el mes de gener passat.<\/p>\n<p>El tempo cognitiu lent -aquesta barreja entre un proc\u00e9s d\u2019aprenentatge lent i una actitud ensopida per part de l\u2019infant- seria una variant del transtorn del d\u00e8ficit d\u2019atenci\u00f3 i hiperactivitat -el popular TDAH-, tot i que els seus s\u00edmptomes en s\u00f3n gaireb\u00e9 oposats. A EEUU, els cient\u00edfics que en defensen l\u2019exist\u00e8ncia calculen que hi ha uns 2 milions d\u2019infants que pateixen aquest transtorn.
