T\u00e9 la pell de peda\u00e7os de colors: groc, blau, vermell, verd, rosa, negre&#8230;I els altres elefants se&#8217;n riuen perqu\u00e8 no \u00e9s com ells, de color elefant. Cansat de ser diferent, un dia l&#8217;Elmer decideix pintar-se de color gris i fer una broma als altres elefants, i tots riuen de cor amb l&#8217;ocurr\u00e8ncia de l&#8217;Elmer. Ha jugat amb els colors donant m\u00e9s sentit a la hist\u00f2ria. Es passeja pels grisos( coincidint amb la situaci\u00f3 problem\u00e0tica) per acabar en un esclat de coloraines (acceptaci\u00f3 i reconeixement ). Probablement, sempre hi haur\u00e0 alguna nena o nen que s&#8217;identifiqui amb la problem\u00e0tica de ser especial.
