La proposta a la UNESCO d&#8217;instaurar aquest dia com a Internacional de les Matem\u00e0tiques va ser feta per la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mathunion.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Uni\u00f3 Matem\u00e0tica Internacional<\/strong><\/a>, amb el suport de nombroses organitzacions tant internacionals com de diferents pa\u00efsos.<\/p>\n<p>Amb la proclamaci\u00f3 del <strong>Dia Internacional de les Matem\u00e0tiques<\/strong> es convida a la comunitat matem\u00e0tica, cada 14 de mar\u00e7, a organitzar activitats dirigides tant a estudiants com al p\u00fablic en general.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Cada any es proposar\u00e0 un tema per ambientar la celebraci\u00f3, despertar la creativitat i explicar les connexions entre les matem\u00e0tiques i tota mena de camps, conceptes i idees.
