L\u2019any 1999 la Confer\u00e8ncia General de la UNESCO va proclamar el 21 de mar\u00e7 Dia Mundial de la Poesia (DMP)<\/strong>. Per celebrar ho, des de l\u2019any 2008 la Instituci\u00f3 de les Lletres Catalanes i la Federaci\u00f3 Catalana d\u2019Associacions i Clubs Unesco promocionen aquesta celebraci\u00f3 tant en el nostre domini ling\u00fc\u00edstic com a la resta d\u2019Europa i del m\u00f3n amb l\u2019elecci\u00f3 d\u2019un poeta i un seu poema per a l\u2019ocasi\u00f3. Partint d\u2019aquesta composici\u00f3, la ILC elabora un fullet<\/a> amb l\u2019original en catal\u00e0 i la seva traducci\u00f3 a vint-i-dues lleng\u00fces, que difon \u00e0mpliament, promou l\u2019organitzaci\u00f3 d\u2019accions po\u00e8tiques, presencials i a trav\u00e9s de les xarxes, i organitza un acte central el mateix dia 21. En la setzena edici\u00f3 del DMP, la ILC ha escollit el poema \u201cTant si baixes la vista vers la immunda\u201d de Francesc Vicent Garcia, de qui enguany commemorem el quatricentenari de la mort.<\/p>\n
