Les administracions p\u00fabliques, els centres educatius, els mitjans de comunicaci\u00f3 i tots els agents socials que treballen amb persones amb discapacitat o que s\u2019hi refereixen tenen un paper essencial en l\u2019erradicaci\u00f3 d\u2019estereotips i en la difusi\u00f3 d\u2019una concepci\u00f3 de la discapacitat ajustada a la realitat. El catal\u00e0, amb aquesta guia, disposa d\u2019una eina clau per a la inclusi\u00f3 social.<\/p>\n<p>El contingut principal de la guia se centra en els criteris per tractar la discapacitat amb \u00f2ptica inclusiva i en la terminologia recomanada segons els tipus de discapacitat; i tamb\u00e9 ofereix informaci\u00f3 del marc conceptual i normatiu, la definici\u00f3 de la discapacitat en el context de la imatge social que se\u2019n t\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Amb un enfocament eminentment pr\u00e0ctic, s\u2019hi troben exemples per corregir expressions obsoletes o pejoratives, comunicar amb rigor i precisi\u00f3, i evitar eufemismes i paternalismes. En aquest sentit, es proposa parlar d\u2019\u201cinfants amb discapacitat\u201d en lloc d\u2019\u201cinfants discapacitats\u201d i \u201cpersones sense discapacitat\u201d en lloc de \u201cpersones normals\u201d. Tamb\u00e9 pret\u00e9n evitar usos metaf\u00f2rics denigrants com ara \u201csituaci\u00f3 esquizofr\u00e8nica\u201d o \u201cresposta autista\u201d, entre molts d\u2019altres.<\/p>\n<p><a
