A vegades hi ha municipis formats per diferents pobles. Per exemple a l\u2019Alt Pened\u00e8s el municipi d\u2019Ol\u00e8rdola est\u00e0 format pels pobles de Moja, Sant Pere Molanta i Sant Miquel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><em>Poble<\/em>:<\/strong> Un poble \u00e9s un lloc amb cases i carrers on viuen persones. Diferents pobles ve\u00efns poden formar un municipi.<\/p>\n<p>Principalment a l\u2019Alt i el Baix Pened\u00e8s hi ha molts nuclis de poblaci\u00f3 repartits per tot el municipi. A vegades s\u00f3n prou grans com per ser un poble, en d\u2019altres formen barriades i tamb\u00e9 hi ha nuclis de poblaci\u00f3 formats per un redu\u00eft grup de cases properes. Des dels anys seixanta del segle passat s\u2019han creat nuclis de poblaci\u00f3 nous amb les urbanitzacions de segona resid\u00e8ncia.<br \/>\nEn poden ser exemple el municipi de Subirats, municipi molt extens, format pels nuclis de Sant Pau d\u2019Ordal (cap de municipi), Lavern, Ordal, Torre-ramona, El Pago, Els Casots, Can Rossell, El Rebato, Ca l\u2019Avi, Can Cartr\u00f3, Can Bas, Can Batista, Cantallops, Urbanitzaci\u00f3 Casablanca, Urbanitzaci\u00f3 Muntanya Rodona i Urbanitzaci\u00f3 Can Rossell.
