Aquest problema de magnitud mundial es manifesta amb el canvi clim\u00e0tic, l&#8217;esgotament dels recursos naturals, l&#8217;abocament de contaminants a l&#8217;entorn i la degradaci\u00f3 dels ecosistemes, entre d&#8217;altres molts s\u00edmptomes.<br \/>\nLa biodiversitat i el patrimoni natural del litoral no s\u00f3n aliens a aquest escenari. La desaparici\u00f3 per sobreexplotaci\u00f3 d&#8217;esp\u00e8cies marines va ser el primer senyal d&#8217;alarma. Una senzilla ullada\u00a0a les acumulacions de residus a platges, penya-segats i costes indica que la situaci\u00f3 avui, lluny de millorar, ha anat empitjorant.
